AC Milan signed Robinho from Manchester City
AC Milan have agreed a deal to sign Brazilian striker Robinho from Manchester City
The move was sealed late last two days with the approval from both parties and club before the end of the summer transfer window on 31 August.
An official statement on the Milan website read: “AC Milan communicates it has acquired the player Robinho, outright from Manchester City. The Brazilian has signed a contract with the Rossoneri club for four years.”
Robinho, 26, joined his home club Santos on a 6 month loan deal that finished last month August, back to Manchester city he stated that he was seeking a move away from the club.
The player has already successfully undergone a medical and the Rossoneri will pay €18 million plus bonuses for his services, although the fee was officially undisclosed at the time of the announcement.
The Brazilian international will link up with Ronaldinho, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alexandre Pato to form one of the most exciting attacks in Europe this season.
